During San Diego Comic-Con last July, "Sanctuary" executive producers Damian Kindler and Martin Wood probably would've preferred to be in Vancouver working on the highly-anticipated season of their hit Syfy show.

Instead, they were in Southern California promoting the heck out of the show at one of the largest single fan conventions in the world.

During the red carpet of the Syfy/Entertainment Weekly party, Kindler and Wood shared some of the production secrets behind "Sanctuary," and why there may be a tad fewer virtual environments than in the first season. And they have a good reason why.
