Although the supernatural film "Paranormal Activity" is opening with a limited theatrical release, Paramount Pictures is offering audiences a say in where the film screens.

The low-budget indie fright flick made its debut at the 2008 Slamdance Film Festival and is now set to hit the big screen Sept 25.

It follows a young San Diego couple terrorized by a supernatural presence; think "Blair Witch," but in a suburban house.

Written and directed by Oren Peli, the film stars Katie Featherston, Micah Sloat, Mark Fredrichs, Amber Armstrong and Ashley Palmer.
