A third trailer for "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" premiered at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Sunday.

This sequel finds Edward coming to the realization that Bella can never be safe while he is around. He leaves her and later believes that she has died, prompting him into the arms of the Volturi, an organized coven of vampires. Meanwhile, Bella and the shape-shifter Jake grow closer.

"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" arrives in theaters Nov. 20.

The film is directed by Chris Weitz ("The Golden Compass") from a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg ("Dexter"). It stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
