Magnet Releasing debuted a red-band trailer for "The House of the Devil," the latest horror film from director Ti West ("The Roost," "Cabin Fever 2").

The film will be available to home viewers as a video-on-demand title through Magnolia Pictures and Magnet Releasing's Ultra VOD program in late September. A limited theatrical release will follow around Halloween.

Set in the 1980s, "The House Of The Devil" stars Jocelin Donahue as a babysitter who is lured to a remote mansion. Before long she is trapped, and her employers -- Tom Noonan ("Manhunter") and Mary Woronov ("Rock And Roll High School") -- reveal their sinister plan.

"Ti West is without a doubt one of the biggest talents in horror right now," said Tom Quinn, Magnet/Magnolia SVP and head of acquisitions. "'The House Of The Devil' is smart, truly scary, and an awesome throwback to what made '80s horror great. This kind of film is what Magnet is all about."
