Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for "The Wolfman," which stars Benicio Del Toro as a lycanthrope on the prowl.

Arriving in theaters Feb. 12, 2010, the film is helmed by Joe Johnston ("The Rocketeer," "Jurassic Park III"). Six-time Oscar-winning special effects artist Rick Baker ("An American Werewolf in London") provided designs and makeup for Del Toro's character.

Synopsis: Lawrence Talbot (Del Toro), a haunted nobleman, is lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father, Talbot sets out to find his brother and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself. He learns that something with unimaginable strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline has come to investigate.

The film also stars Anthony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving and Emily Blunt.
