Paris Hilton will guest star on The CW series "Supernatural."
She is set to appear in episode five of the fifth season, but details about her role are being kept secret.
Could this development bring the show to its end faster than the apocalypse? A source close to the show apparently claimed: "The fans should trust [show runner] Eric Kripke."

'Hellbound Hearts' continues Cenobite fun: Clive Barker's novella "Hellbound Heart" spawned the "Hellraiser" films and now is set to unleash 21 new tales of Cenobite carnage in an anthology called "Hellbound Hearts."
The stories are helmed by such heavy hitters as Neil Gaiman, Steve Niles, Mike Mignola, Christopher Golden, Mick Garris, Richard Christian Matheson, Sarah Langan, Mark Morris, Nancy Kilpatrick and "Hellbound: Hellraiser II" scripter Peter Atkins.
“'Hellbound Hearts' was originally an idea I ran past Clive a couple of years ago,” said editor Paul Kane during an interview with Fangoria. “I loved the 'Hellraiser' comics that were around in the late ’80s/early ’90s, but if you wanted to read original stories in that mythology, now all you had were the reprints. Apart from Clive’s 'Hellbound Heart' novella and [his upcoming novel] 'The Scarlet Gospels,' nobody had really done anything in the literary world connected with it.
“The stories are very much inspired by the novella and the original mythology, with authors creating their own Cenobites and scenarios, opening up that world just like the comics tales before them. I can’t say too much about the stories themselves at this time, but rest assured they cover a lot of ground. Each author has a different take on the material, and the mix works extremely well."
"Hellbound Hearts" will be unleashed Sept. 29 by Pocket Books and is available for pre-order now. -- [Fangoria]

'Night of the Demons' debut delayed: Despite its roots in Halloween themes, "Night of the Demons" has dropped its Oct. 9 release date and instead will hit theaters in February 2010.
Unfortunately, an October release placed it on the same premier date as the undead epic "Zombieland," which apparently spooked distributor Seven Arts Pictures.
The film, which is a remake of Kevin S. Tenney’s 1988 cult flick, is about a group of youths who decide to throw a Halloween party in a haunted house and inadvertently release demonic spirits.
It is directed by Adam Gierasch ("Autopsy") from his and Jace Anderson’s script, and stars Edward Furlong ("Terminator 2: Judgment Day"), Shannon Elizabeth ("13 Ghosts"), Monica Keena ("Freddy vs. Jason"), Tiffany Shepis and Diora Baird ("The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning").
"Night of the Demons" will make an appearance at London’s Film4 Frightfest later this month. -- [Fangoria]
