'Fear Clinic' Brings Phobias To Life
Horror stars unite for mini-series, which premieres soon on FEARnet
IGN recently premiered a trailer for the original web series "Fear Clinic," which features such horror stars as Robert Englund, Kane Hodder and Danielle Harris.
Directed by Robert Hall ("Laid To Rest," "Lightning Bug"), the series spotlights the maniacal genius Dr. Andover, played by Englund, who is obsessed by humanitys worst fears. He uses his invention, the Fear Chamber, to bring phobias to life, forcing a cure or death.
Rabid Doll attended the "Fear Clinic" presentation at Comic-Con International last month to view exclusive clips. It was impressive footage, with the production values of a feature film.
In our commitment to creating the premiere horror, thriller and suspense destination, we are thrilled to unite these two classic legends of horror in a fresh, exciting way, said Diane Robina, president of FEARnet. To have Robert Englund and Kane Hodder on board for our new series is exciting, both for us and for horror lovers everywhere.
Aaron R. Drane scripted the project while Mark B. Johnson and Jim Burns hold executive producing duties. Almost Human of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Quarantine" fame provide the effects.
The five episode mini-series premieres on FEARnet.com and FEARnets VOD channel in October. It'll also be featured on Hulu, You Tube, Fancast and other outlets. Check out the trailer below.
