Platinum Dunes has revealed the first image of Jackie Earle Haley as Fred Krueger and the one-sheet from the "Nightmare On Elm Street" reboot.

More details and surprises about the film are expected at the San Diego Comic-Con International this Friday.

"Nightmare On Elm Street" is helmed by first-time director Samuel Bayer, and is based on a script by Eric Heisserer and Wesley Strick ("Wolf," "Cape Fear").

The film hits theaters April 16, 2010, and stars Kyle Gallner (Jennifer's Body"), Rooney Mara ("Urban Legends: Bloody Mary"), Thomas Dekker ("Laid To Rest," "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles"), Kellan Lutz ("The Twilight Saga: New Moon"), Katie Cassidy ("Taken," "Supernatural"), Clancy Brown ("The Burrowers") and Connie Britton.
