A red-band trailer for "The Collector" recently premiered online.

The film follows an ex-con's attempt to break into the country home of his wealthy employer, only to discover the family is home and trapped by a masked killer who has set deadly traps throughout the house.

"Saw" and "Feast" writer Marcus Dunstan makes his directorial debut, working from a screeplay he co-wrote with Patrick Melton.

"The Collector" opens nationwide July 31. It stars Daniella Alonso ("Wrong Turn 2," "The Hills Have Eyes II"), Josh Stewart, Michael Reilly Burke ("Ted Bundy"), Andrea Roth, Madeline Zima, Karley Scott Collins, Robert Wisdom and Juan Fernandez.
