In the series, Sticky Fingaz (from the rap group Onyx; Dead Presidents, Next Friday) takes on the role of the legendary day-walking vampire that hunts his own kind. New Line are marketing the four disc box set as containing all the bits that were "too-graphic-for-TV" and will include all 13 extended episodes.
The television series, which was based on the popular comic-book movie franchise starring Wesley Snipes originally aired in 2006, but due to what the channel considered low ratings, was eventually axed. During its time on the air, the series received a great deal of criticism due to the lack of time devoted to Blade himself.
"Blade: The Series" hits the shelves February 12.
