"H2" writer-director Rob Zombie recently talked with AMC TV about his unique vision for the "Halloween" franchise.

Though Zombie was initially opposed to returning to the director's chair, the idea of continuing the characters and tone he molded eclipsed his misgivings. With "H2," he is intent on humanizing the iconic villain Michael Myers, and bringing added focus to him and his sister, Laurie Strode (Scout Taylor-Compton).
