The book series has become a global phenomenon and the big screen outing has proved to be a massive success ... and now "Twilight's" debut on DVD has brought the film into the top 5 releases of the last two years. "Twilight" sold over 3 million copies on its first day thanks to a "Twilight at Midnight" launch where the film was released at midnight. The movie has now entered the top five first day DVD releases for the last two years and is now in the exclusive ranks of "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," "The Dark Knight," "Harry Potter And The Order Of The Pheonix" and "Transformers." Based on the bestselling book series by Stephenie Meyer, the story focuses on Bella Swann (), a young girl who moves to Forks, Washington to live with her father following her mother's re-marriage. Expecting only a mundane and mediocre life in the small town, her life is instead thrown upside down when she is saved by Edward Cullen ... a cold one. Despite the knowledge of what he is, Bella becomes absolutely positive about three things: First, Edward is a vampire; second, there was part of him that thirsted for her blood; and third, she was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him. The sequel, "New Moon," is currently in the works and will hit theaters in November. Digg It! Express yourself and be part of the news!
