Linda Hamilton Returns To ‘Terminator’ Franchise

At the New York Comic Con in February, Hamilton indicated to MTV News that she was in talks for a voice-over role in the McG directed sequel. Her part was structured to establish the setting and to enhance the link to James Cameron's "Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgment Day."
Now, according to C.H.U.D., an unnamed source who watched the film confirms Hamilton's narration is present during the opening moments. The source claims the tone mirrors her voice-over work in "Terminator 2."
Hamilton's involvement can be viewed as an endorsement, as she turned down a role in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," citing it failed to honor the previous films.
Now that McG has secured Hamilton's involvement, only Arnold Schwarzenegger and Robert Patrick remain absent, but the source provided no insight on their participation.
In fact, Schwarzenegger is already deflating fan expectations for a cameo.
"I am very happy with where I am with my profession as the Governor and they should try to find a way of doing a story that does not include me at all, not even one single shot in it," Schwarzenegger said recently at The Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio. "I don't believe in that."
"Terminator Salvation" hits screens May 21, and stars Christian Bale (as John Connor), Sam Worthington, Bryce Dallas Howard, Common and Moon Bloodgood.
