Helming the project is John Moore, the man behind bringing the popular gritty video game “Max Payne†to the big screen with Wahlberg as the leading man. Well, apparently his experience with the actor was so good that he wants him for his next adaptation.
“We had a hell of a time on ‘Max Payne,’†Moore said, according to Bloody Disgusting. “I think he’s an actor of unlimited potential and I’d just love to go around with him again. [But] we’re not in control of these things †lots of big people with big checkbooks get to do that. If it’s going to happen, then the karma makes it happen.â€Â
In the comics, a ragtag team of soldiers scour Afghanistan for a missing patrol and accidentally discover a nest of blood thirsty vampires.
“Max Payne†has already completed production and is slated for release on Oct. 17. To view the latest posters from the release, please click here.
