Roll up, roll up, have we got a show in store for you.  This may sound like the introduction to a circus act but really its the beginnings of a sinister tale of a freak show. And actor Willem Dafoe is a part of it. According to ShockTilYouDrop, Dafoe has joined the cast of Paul Weitz’s new horror-fantasy "Cirque du Freak." The film - which is based on Darren Shan’s teen novels - revolves around the life of a teenager that attends an underground freak show filled with bizarre creatures. And in order to save his friends life he is forced to become the assistant to a vampire. Dafoe will be taking on the role of a vampire named Gavner Purl in the film and has also just completed a similar role after playing a similar role in the apocalyptic "Daybreakers" which is currently in post-production. The film also stars Salma Hayek and John C. Reilly.  No release date has been confirmed.
