No, she’s not taking part in some cheesy magic trick, instead she’ll be going head-to-head with the diabolical Jigsaw in the latest outing of the Saw franchise. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Benz has been cast in the role of a British woman who is “too proper and elegant to be a pawn in Jigsaw’s latest games.”  Benz is already well known within the genre for her work as Darla in the vampire saga “Angel,” and also for her role on the Showtime series “Dexter.”  The gore-fest (which is based on real life accidents) is being produced under the Lionsgate banner and Tobin Bell will again return as the psychotic mastermind. Production is currently underway on “Saw V” in Toronto for an Oct.24 release.
