According to director Neil Marshall, the R-rated horror film “Doomsday†will “have some cannibalism, a few decapitations, someone run over with a tank.â€Â So horror fans can rest easy.
The follow-up to “The Descent†is an homage to ‘80s action films and takes place thirty years after a lethal virus decimates a major country, leading to its complete isolation.
Now that “Doomsday†is ready for release, Marshall is already looking to the future and has revealed his dream project, which he hopes will be next. “[It’s] my version of the Indiana Jones action films, except my Indiana Jones would be named Jack Ravenscroft. Now that the WGA strike is over, whoever wants to take a look at the script is welcome.â€Â
“Doomsday†hits theaters March 14.
