Italian filmmaker Dario Argento is known for his works of horror, and now the Weinstein Company has signed a deal to control the domestic distribution rights to his latest flick, “Giallo.” The film is set to star silver screen legend Ray Liotta and also Argento’s daughter Asia Argento. Vincent Gallo stars as a sinister serial killer with Liotta playing the detective who is hot on his trail. The killers trademark? Terrible slash attacks that leave beautiful women mutilated and lying in pools of their own blood. The Weinstein Company have also agreed to distribute Argento’s “The Mother of Tears” on DVD via Genius Products and the film is also expected to receive a limited theatre run later this year.
