'Sanctuary' Cast Excited For Longer Arcs, 'Dudity'

Comic-Con: 'Caprica's' Polly Walker to guest star in Season 3

Star and executive producer Amanda Tapping joined her cast mates from Syfy's "Sanctuary" to share their excitement for the upcoming Season 3 of the show to a packed audience at San Diego Comic-Con Saturday afternoon.

The "Sanctuary" crew is making full use of its first full 20-episode season.

"It is beautiful and daunting at the same time," executive producer Damian Kindler told the crowd. "It allows us to tell these amazing, long beautiful arcs. And so we get to tell some stories that we just wouldn't essentially have the leeway to tell."

The audience was eager to hear what's in store for the new season.

"We live!" Tapping confirmed in the biggest non-spoiler of the panel.

"This is my favorite season so far," Kindler added. "The characters go deeper, we learn about their history, the villains are cool, and the places we go are new and unexpected."

Tapping also confirmed that "Caprica" star Polly Walker will be a guest on "Sanctuary" this season.

Fans of werewolf Henry can look forward to a further exploration of the character. In many ways, "it's safe to say we see a lot more of that side of Henry, which ultimately means that we see a lot more of a lot of sides of Henry," said actor Ryan Robbins.

This led both Robbins and Robin Dunne to jokingly complain that on "Sanctuary," there's not so much nudity on the show as there is "dudity."

Of course, Tapping confirmed the reason why. "That's because I'm an executive producer," she said, definitely gaining the support of many of her fellow female fans of the show.

"Sanctuary" returns Sept. 28 on Syfy.
