Four new photos and a second poster from Platinum Dunes' reboot of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" were recently released.

Though the photos offer no peaks at Jackie Earle Haley's ("Watchmen") Fred Krueger, a second trailer is expected to feature new footage of the dream-stalking villain. The trailer hits Thursday at 12 a.m. PT on MySpace. New Line is also attaching it to some prints of "The Crazies," which opens Friday.

In the "Nightmare On Elm Street" reboot, Krueger stalks a group of suburban teenagers after their parent's vigilante justice transforms him into an unstoppable entity. As a dream-stalking killer, he leaves no chance of escape for his prey.

First-time director Samuel Bayer is helming the film, which is based on a script by Eric Heisserer and Wesley Strick ("Wolf," "Cape Fear"). Bayer gained acclaim for his commercial and music video work, including the videos for Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams."
