'Suspiria' Inspired 'Finale' Set To Scare
John Michael Elfers' flick arrives courtesy of Image Entertainment
Jinga Films' supernatural horror film "Finale" -- described as an homage to Dario Argento's "Suspiria" -- will receive a May release courtesy of Image Entertainment.
John Michael Elfers wrote and directed the film, which follows a grieving mother (Carolyn Von Hauck) who discovers that her deceased son had ran afoul of demonic forces.
Using in-camera effects, and shooting it on film, Elfers describes it as a totally old-school movie experience.
"The whole movie is like 1970s horror," he said in a TTN-HD Production Live interview last year.
"Finale" has already earned awards on the 2009 festival circuit, including Best Horror Film at Seattle True Independent and Best Cinematography at Boston International.

In addition to "Finale," Jinga Films will continue dishing out the scares this year, closing recent deals on the release of Federico Zampaglione's psychological horror flick "Shadow," Lawrence Gough's "Salvage," Andy Thompson's "The Scar Crow," Johnny Kevorkian's "The Disappeared" and Julian Richards' "Summer Scars."
