A behind-the-scenes featurette on the making of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" recently appeared on YouTube.

Footage of Jackie Earle Haley in the makeup chair is featured. The featurette originally appeared on the "The Final Destination" DVD and Blu-ray.

First-time director Samuel Bayer is helming the film, which is based on a script by Eric Heisserer and Wesley Strick ("Wolf," "Cape Fear"). Bayer gained acclaim for his commercial and music video work, including the videos for Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams."

"A Nightmare on Elm Street" hits theaters April 30, and stars Kyle Gallner (Jennifer's Body"), Rooney Mara (Urband Legends: Bloody Mary"), Thomas Dekker ("Laid To Rest", "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles"), Kellan Lutz ("The Twilight Saga: New Moon), Katie Cassidy ("Taken," "Supernatural") and Clancy Brown ("Carnivàle," "The Burrowers").
