"Paranormal Activity" comes home on DVD and Blu-ray Dec. 29, and into the house of one lucky sweepstakes winner.

Propelled by a sharp social media campaign and enthusiastic word-of-mouth from fans, "Paranormal Activity" is hailed as a horror phenomenon and one of the scariest movies of all time, ultimately earning over $100 million at the domestic box office.

The film follows a young couple who believe their house may be haunted and who decide to document the strange events on video.

To celebrate, Paramount Home Entertainment will host the world premiere of an unrated version of the film for Jessica DiMeo of Rehoboth, Mass., the winner of the "Paranormal Activity" Red Carpet Home Screening sweepstakes.

DiMeo will receive a brand new home theater system and an exclusive, red carpet premiere in her home that will be attended by "Paranormal Activitys" writer-director Oren Peli, Dec. 28.

'Paranormal Activity' became a hit because it was championed by fans across the country, said Peli. Im delighted to be celebrating the DVD and Blu-ray debut with one of those fans.

The "Paranormal Activity" DVD is presented in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 televisions with Dolby Digital English 5.1 Surround and Spanish 5.1 Surround (theatrical version only) and English, French and Spanish subtitles. The two-disc Blu-ray is presented in 1080p high definition with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital (theatrical version only) and English, English SDH, French and Spanish subtitles. The S.R.P. is $29.99 for the DVD, and $40.99 for the Blu-ray.
