'True Blood' Vamp Gets Series Promotion
Actress Kristin Bauer takes on an expanded role in Season 3
"True Blood" actress Kristin Bauer has been promoted to a series regular.
Bauer, who plays the blonde vampire Pam, Eric's (Alexander Skarsgard) sidekick at the vampire bar Fangtasia, guest starred in 11 episodes of the first two seasons of the popular HBO vampire series.
"True Blood" executive producer Alan Ball recently indicated that Pam will receive a meaty story line for Season 3, including a possible lesbian relationship.
Bauer's promotion comes as "True Blood" started production on its third season last week.
Also joining the cast as regulars in Season 3 are Denis O'Hare and Marshall Allman; Theo Alexander and Grant Bowler are stepping into recurring roles.
