More Werewolves To Stalk Fox

Network is developing 'Howl' for DreamWorks TV

Fox is looking to unleash another werewolf series.

"Howl," which is being developed with DreamWorks TV, is touted as an epic family saga about warring families of werewolves in a small Alaskan town.

"Alaska is a place where people disappear and now you know why," said Joshua Miller, who is writing the project with M.A. Fortin.

The script takes cues from today's changing world, and "metamorphosis and constant change is the basis of werewolf mythology," he added. "Howl" is about "the psychology of living with change."

In 1987, one of Fox's first series was "Werewolf," which followed a man attempting to escape his lycanthropic curse.

DreamWorks TV's Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank will executive produce "Howl."
