Paramount Home Entertainment is releasing "Paranormal Activity" on DVD, a 2-disc Blu-ray edition and an online-only Limited Collectors Edition, Dec. 29.

The DVD and two-disc Blu-ray include the original theatrical version of the film, plus an unrated version with a shocking alternate ending not seen in theaters. The Blu-ray also includes a digital copy of the theatrical version.

The Limited Collectors Edition -- available only online -- includes a theatrical version and an unrated version with an alternate ending never shown in theaters; an authentic film cell from the movie, featured on a collectible trading card; and individually numbered, limited edition t-shirt to showcase that YOU "demanded it!"

Propelled by a sharp social media campaign and enthusiastic word-of-mouth from fans, "Paranormal Activity" is hailed as a horror phenomenon and one of the scariest movies of all time, ultimately earning over $100 million at the domestic box office.

The film follows a young couple who believe their house may be haunted and who decide to document the strange events on video.

Directed, written, and produced by Oren Peli, the "Paranormal Activity" stars Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat.
