Using a commissioned helicopter, the retrieval is successful and their cargo is safely aboard. But as the pair starts to head back to the mainland, something causes the sea creature to break loose.
Knowing that they won't be able to get control of the Abnormal, Magnus (Amanda Tapping) decides to crash land the helicopter, but find themselves entangled in guy wire, dangling almost precariously over an abandoned oil bore well several feet above the water in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico.
Now that the Abnormal is nowhere to be found, Magnus figures that the creature got out. Unfortunately, she's wrong, and this squid creature is pissed beyond belief, and decides to take out its frustration on Magnus and Will (Robin Dunne).
"Sanctuary" airs Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on Syfy.
