Hellhounds Return On 'Supernatural'

There might be a reason why this week's "Supernatural" episode on The CW is called "Abandon All Hope."

The Winchester brothers, you know Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) join up with Castiel (Misha Collins) to track down the Colt, and then head off to find Lucifer, played by Mark Pellegrino. Their goal? To send Lucifer back to hell, of course.

It's a hunter's reunion when the crew joins forces with Bobby (Jim Beaver), Ellen (Samantha Ferris) and Jo (Alona Tal) for what is being described as possible their last night on Earth.

Genre fans of shows like "Firefly" and "Battlestar Galactica" will love to know that Mark Sheppard makes an appearance in this episode (and in these clips) as Crowley, while Rachel Miner is on board as Meg.

This episode was written by Ben Edlund and directed by Phil Sgriccia.

"Supernatural" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
